Northern Industrial Erectors, Inc. (NIE) joined the Lignite Energy Council at the major supplier level in 2009.
From new construction and prototypes to complete rebuilds and building maintenance, NIE takes a comprehensive, team approach to their projects. Based on the simple core values of integrity, trust and innovation, they have been specializing in steel erection, construction management and millwright services for more than 25 years.
Recently, NIE was pleased to provide steel erection, millwright services and construction management for the Great River Energy’s DryFining™ technology project, which was placed in service on December 30, 2009, prior to deadline.
“Great River Energy successfully assembled the team necessary to provide the proper planning, coordination and construction skills required to complete the Dryfining™ project in a safe and timely manner,” says Derek Bostyancic, vice president of NIE. “We at NIE are proud to be a part of the team.”
Safety is NIE’s number one value, says Bostyancic. “We design and implement safety strategies according to the demands of each project.”
“We chose to join the LEC in hopes of building new relationships and becoming more involved in the advancement of the coal industry. The knowledge we are gaining from the LEC and its contractor/supplier meetings will assist us in meeting future challenges,” Bostyancic says.
